We are a private practice Mental health service. As mental health Occupational Therapists, we must be deemed clinically experienced and extensively trained in psychological interventions and endorsed by Medicare through OT Australia. Our team is trained in the use of ACT, CBT, DBT and schema therapy. We operate in a trauma-informed and neuro-affirming manner. 

We see people from the age of six. Common presentations include:

  • Depression 

  • Anxiety 

  • Suicidal ideation 

  • Self-harm 

  • Bipolar 

  • Schizophrenia 

  • PTSD 

  • OCD

  • ADHD

  • Autism 

  • Decrease in function or occupational engagement i.e. school refusal

  • Sleep dysfunction 

  • Emotional regulation differences or difficulties

  • Sensory difficulties 

  • Excluded: family therapy and couples counselling 

FEES and referrals:

Mental health treatment plan: available from your GP if they agree that you require additional mental health support. If this is provided and sent to our service, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate (see the Medicare website for details, currently for a standard consult the rebate is $87.25). The session fee is $225.00. The first session must be paid upfront.

NDIS: Clients will be billed at the same rate as private or Medicare clients- $225. However, there is an option to waive the “co-payment” - please speak to our director, Paula when you refer and tick the box to waive the gap.

Clinical Supervision:

Paula is available to provide mental health specific supervision. She is highly experienced in many different settings including mental health inpatient units, community mental health facilities, youth mental health and private practice. She has a high level of knowledge supporting people with self-harm and suicidal thoughts, chronic mental health conditions and complex co-morbidities. She practices in a neuro-affirming and trauma informed manner. OT Supervision is billed as follows:

  • 1 hour session: $215.00

  • 30-minute session: $110

  • Group of 5 sessions 1-hour sessions, paid upfront: $950, 12-month expiry.
